Gregor MacDonald

Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry

Hello there! I obtained a Masters in Chemical Engineering with Distinction at the University of Strathclyde, during which I embarked upon a year-long international exchange to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Within my final masters year, I completed my thesis at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), within The Instituto de Tecnología Química (ITQ).

Teaching is a passion of mine and is the reason I started MacDonald Tuition. We have a fantastic track record with our clients - building their confidence to tackle their examinations and achieve their potential.

Tomoki Hayashi

Mathematics & Physics

Hi there! I'm a fourth-year student at the University of Strathclyde, where I'm pursuing a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my education, I've consistently maintained a strong academic record, with all A grades in my SQA Exams, including Advanced Higher Mathematics and Physics.

With my solid academic background I believe that I would make a great tutor and mentor for students who are looking to excel in their studies, especially in the areas of Mathematics and Physics. I look forward to helping students reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals.

Katie Francis

Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry

Hello! I’m Katie, a fifth-year Aero-Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. My passion for maths and physics started when I was in school, allowing me to achieve A grades up to Advanced Higher Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I attribute my enthusiasm and success in my career in engineering to these formative years.

It is for this reason that I am tutoring for students currently preparing for their National 5 and Higher examinations. My aim is to help others build the same strong foundation that I had and instill in them the same enthusiasm for learning and achieving high grades. As a tutor, I strive to provide my students with the support they need in order to develop their skills, deepen their understanding and gain confidence in their ability.
